The “A” family

Today I had so much fun with an absolutely gorgeous family. The kids were so sweet and so much fun! All three were under 6, and they have another little girl on the way! She will be truly welcomed into a family of joy and love. Mom and Dad were so warm and nice, and full of love for their family. Thank you for letting me share in those moments!

Shirley and her kids

Capturing images of these four generations was truly one of the most fun I’ve had capturing grown ups.  They were all together for the first time since some of the little ones had arrived.  They were all so excited, and their energy was contagious.  Shirley is simply lovely, and I can’t even express the honor I felt being in her presence.   Feeling the obvious love and joy that was present that day, I can’t help but think that Shirley did an incredible job being a mother.  Those of us moms know how hard a job it is.  We all feel like failures so much of the time.  But if I am lucky enough to be with three generations of my children, and to have what they had that day, then I may feel like I did an OK job after all.  I can only hope.

Babies M & M with Little Miss A

I had the opportunity to capture images of these twin 10 month olds who are are at the pulling up and cruisin’ stage in their life.  They came along with big sis, “A” who was bright and energetic and happy to pose.    They all had bright beautiful eyes, and such happy smiles.  It was a little cold that morning, but we made it work!

P, K, A, and T

We took this set of 2 year old boy/girl twins over to the wooded area of O’Neill park along the border of Rancho Santa Margarita.  Their mom called this part of the park their “backyard” because, let’s face it, very few of us in RSM have very big back yards and this would be the closest thing to it if you lived near by.  They were such adorable kids, and I enjoyed spending time with them.  We walked, and played, and they showed me flowers and grasses, and logs they could climb on and all sorts of fun stuff.  Big sister “A” came a long to help play with the kids, and we captured some nice images of her too.  She is just beautiful, which is no surprise when you see the rest of the family!  I’ve lived in RSM for 10 years, and have never been inside the gates except through the main entrance for camping.  It really is quite lovely and peaceful, and I think you should check it out!  Thanks Mrs. D for sharing it with us!
